Thank you dear readers for reading.
I appreciate your notes of encouragement, your comments indicating you read to the end, your anecdotes that add depth.
You’ve read while I’ve tried new styles and blog lengths. You’ve read despite my leaps of logic and awkward sentence structures. And you’ve read even though, as my dear partner reminds me, “There are other people to write about besides Judy O.”
This last year, I’ve had good luck with a few online magazines (stuff dot life, Healthcare In America, Extra Newsfeed) publishing my work.
In great part thanks to your positive feedback, I took the next step in my writing career: I hired a writing coach, clarified my objectives, and increased my daily output.
You’ll continue to see a weekly blog (ok, so not this week) and eventually a link to a piece published in a literary journal, anthology, or a publication that pays (also not this week, hopefully this year).
Meanwhile, I wanted to thank you. It has meant the world to have a thumbs up, a share, or a comment on my screen — but best of all, you reading.
